Ireland, Dublin

We did a survey about Dublin. So we asked a Hungarian girl who lives in Dublin, to tell us about the capital of Ireland.
She was very helpful.

-What was the first thing what you liked in dublin?
-The "Needle" on the O'Connell Street in the citycentre. The edifice is very high end it has a luminous end.I love this spectacle because my  hobby is sewing.

-Where do you go in your free time? What's yout favorite?
-I often go to parks, for example St. Stefan's Green, Phoenix park and the Merion Park. I always go to shopping centers like Dundrum, Ilac and the Blanchardstown Center. Blanchardstown is my favorite, because this is the biggest one and there is a creative shop.

-What you travel to your job with?
-By bus and tram. The Dublin tram is called Luas.

-What do you think about the Irish people?
-They are friendly and helpful. They like talking with the other people. The native Irish people usually has red hair and red freckle on their faces. They love much shamrocks and horses. They think the goblins hidden the gold at the end of the rainbow. That is why the goblins are on a lot of souvenir things.

-What is the most typical thing of the Irish culture?
-The alcohol. The culture is famous of their black beer what's called Guiness. It's made in Ireland and only Dublin have Guiness factories. There are two more alcohol that dominate. Theese are Baileis and the Irish Whiskey. There is a tradidional Irish food, the Irish Stew what's similar to Hungarian goulash.

-What can you offer to see in the capital city?
-The museums, churches, castles ( Dublin castle ), and the beautiful green parks where you can relax. You should to go for a walk in the Grafton Street. where are a lot of street musicians, human statues and other artists. They entertain the passer-bies.

Thank for you helping. :)
